Playing an energetic style of stride piano infused with the influences of Jelly Roll Morton, Fats Waller, and early Earl Hines, topped with a dash of Jerry Lee Lewis, Fletcher keeps the raucous dance hall tradition of jazz vividly alive. Performing professionally since 2010, Fletcher embodies the jazz tradition, offering both an earful for attentive listeners and a vibrant rhythm for dancers.
Mentored for many years by Reese Gray, a founding member of the Firecracker Jazz Band, Fletcher is now forging his own path in the music world, wherever he can find a piano. He has recorded with Americana star Pokey LaFarge and routinely brings his signature style to various groups across the country.
Fletcher’s dynamic performances and deep understanding of jazz’s rich history make every show an unforgettable experience.
