Gary’s been playing reeds for half a century. Although
he is newer to the AVL music scene, he’s played Jazz
Festivals from coast to coast and internationally. Gary’s
played with Red Archer and his Bowmen, the Brahmin
Bellhops, Evergreen Classic Jazz Band, One Leg Up and
the longest stint with Ray Smith’s Paramount Jazz Band
of Boston with whom he recorded several albums on
Stomp off Records. Gary is happy to be the newest
member of the Firecracker Jazz Band.
